About the room
Our cave rooms were carved into the tuff centuries ago and once served as pantries, dovecotes and wine stores. We restored them without touching the rock, keeping every niche and lamp hollow.
Metres of rock keep the room silent and at 20-22 °C in summer without air conditioning; in winter the stone floor is heated. The room has a double bed, a rock-cut sedir niche, hand-woven Ürgüp kilims and a modern bathroom with rain shower.
